Our counseling staff provides academic support and emotional wellness
The Guidance and Counseling Department seeks to foster in students a greater desire and responsibility for their educational and professional life. Saint Mary’s liberal arts education provides students with the greatest opportunity for human flourishing by helping them to realize the meaning of their existence among every discipline of inquiry.
Guidance and Counseling supports this mission by offering academic, personal, college support, and emotional wellness as well as by proposing a number of fundamental questions so that students select a post-secondary environment that furthers their knowledge of the Truth and love of the Good. The department appreciates that all students have a specific vocation, and assists them in making good choices that will be formative of their character and role in society.
